Aanya celebrating her first birthday with the Madagascar team! :)
Aanya’s parents wanted her birthday cake design to go with the party theme – Madagascar. So it was going to be a forest theme cake with the Madagascar characters. Another requirement they had was to have one cake tier covered with shocking Pink fondant. The colour scheme felt bit like a mismatch in the beginning, but we were pretty pleased with how the cake turned out!
Madagascar Cake
The cake is designed with Marty, Melman, Alex and Gloria‘s edible figurines placed on the base and bottom tier that are designed to go with the forest theme. The top tier is decorated to look like another cake placed in midst of the forest. Sitting on top of the cake is the birthday girls figurine wearing her party dress.
